房間本來空洞洞的，今晚終于加上了書桌。周日本來約好了朋友去宜家買書桌和書柜的，但是被價錢嚇怕了。結果光逛，空手而回。接受了朋友的建議，支持環保。這兩天在一個大陸移民建立的網站（www.51.ca)找到了不錯的二手書桌。30塊加幣而已。新的的大概70到80塊左右。來打多倫多，學會了精打細算和謙卑。
網名取得很好，意思是“加國無憂”。用普通話唸51，你應該就能意會。
朋友開車送我到downtown (市中心)把書桌搬運回來，順道打量一下我的新車。給的評語是：“從外表看，絕對抵買！不過還得看以后有沒有問題浮現。”這個朋友來多倫多10年了，經濟條件不錯，一直勸我買新車。
我們看車時，我發現了左前方有一道疤痕。估計是首次出發時太晚擰方向盤，勉強右轉而留下的。原來我的首航不算很順利。嘆氣時朋友又說：“這種疤痕早晚會有的，你的不是新車，不要太在意。”
有了書桌，使用電腦更方便，肩膀更舒服了。下一個目標是二手書架。

Your desk looks nice. As for the scratch, as your friend and I have said, it's kind of unavoidable. If you can, try to find some paint of the same colour, so you can cover the scratch when necessary. I asked for this specifically when I got my car last year, and used it a few times already.
HK is getting rather cold lately, and no doubt you are aware of the heavy snow in China. Pls pray for those poor workers that they can go back home safely, or can find temporary accommodation in the town they work for.
